The Big Summer Lottery 2026 Terms & Conditions

• These Terms and Conditions are The Big Summer Lottery 2026 Rules. By

entering the lottery, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules.

• This lottery is being promoted on behalf of Hope for a Child, 3rd Floor, 39/41

High Street, St Peter Port, GY1 2JT.

• The Promoter is: Kris Kukula, c/o Hope for a Child, 3rd Floor, 39/41 High

Street, St Peter Port, GY1 2JT.

• This lottery is licensed by The Guernsey Home Department. Licence number

28/2026.

• Entrants must be aged 18 years or above to purchase a ticket for the lottery.

• Entrants must have a residential address within the Bailiwick of Guernsey

(Guernsey, Alderney, Sark & Herm) to purchase a ticket, and holders of

winning numbers will be required to show proof of address to claim a prize.

• Any person currently employed by Hope for a Child, is a Director of the

company or is a spouse or cohabiting partner to an employee or Director of

the company may not enter the lottery.

• Any disputes between persons purchasing tickets jointly will not be the

responsibility of Hope for a Child or the Promoter.

PRIZES

• The first prize is £100,000 cash.

• The second prize is an Audi Q3 worth £30,000, or £30,000 cash, depending

on the preference of the prize winner. If the Audi Q3 is selected by the winner,

the vehicle will be sourced at the instruction of the winner, if possible from a

local dealership. The lead-time is unknown.

• The third prize is a Yamaha Jet Blaster JetSki worth £12,500, or £12,500

cash, depending on the preference of the prize winner.

• The fourth prize is a 2-week P&O Caribbean Cruise worth £10,000, or

£10,000 cash, depending on the preference of the prize winner.

• The fifth prize is £5,000 cash.

• The sixth prize is a Vespa Primavera 125 Scooter worth £4,000, or £4,000

cash, depending on the preference of the prize winner.

• The seventh prize is £2,500 cash.

• The eighth prize is a mystery prize, which will be revealed on Monday 15th

June 2026.

• The ninth prize is a Yamaha Booster Easy eBike worth £1,695, or £1,695

cash, depending on the preference of the prize winner.

The runner-up prizes are:

• £1,000 cash (x10)

• Apple MacBook Pro worth £1,333 (x1)

• iPhone 17 Pro Max worth £1,000 (x5)

• Sark Staycation worth £750 (x2)

• DJI Mini 4 Fly More Drone worth £600 (x2)

• Gozney Tread Pizza Oven worth £500 (x2)

• PS5 Games Console worth £500 (x2)

• £500 Voucher for Camp De Reves (x4)

• Dinner for 2 at Vraic worth £310 (x4)

• iPad 128GB worth £275 (x10)

• £250 Aladdin’s Cave Voucher (x10)

• £100 Rib Voyages Voucher for 2 (x25)

• £100 Surf and Turf Voucher (x10)

• £100 Voucher for the Hope Store (x10)

• Cash of equal value is available as an alternative for all non-cash prizes

except Aladdin’s Cave Vouchers.

  • Hope for a Child reserves the right in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances to

substitute non-cash prizes for similar prizes of equal monetary value, or for their

value in cash.

BONUS DRAWS

There are four separate and free ‘Bonus Draws’, with a combined prize fund of

£6,000:

• Bonus Draw 1: winner announced on Monday 2nd June 2026 – Prize: £1,000

• Bonus Draw 2: winner announced on Monday 22nd June 2026 – Prize:

£1,500

• Bonus Draw 3: winner announced on Wednesday 1st July 2026 – Prize:

£2,000

• Bonus Draw 4: winner announced on Monday 20th July 2026 – Prize: £2,500

All tickets purchased before each Bonus Draw deadline will be automatically entered

into that draw and all subsequent draws. For example, all tickets purchased before

Monday 2nd June 2026 will be entered into all four Bonus Draws; a ticket purchased

on Wednesday 1st July 2026 would only be entered into Bonus Draw 4. Any tickets

purchased after 20th July 2026 will NOT be entered into any Bonus Draw. Results

will be published on www.summerlottery.gg.

10TH ANNIVERSARY CASH DROP

To celebrate Hope for a Child’s 10th anniversary, there will be two special Cash

Drop draws. On the 10th of June and the 10th of July 2026, we will give away 10

cash prizes of £100 and one prize of £1,000 in each draw. All tickets purchased

before each Cash Drop date will be automatically entered, with each ticket counting

as one entry.

MULTI-TICKET JACKPOT DRAW

All players who purchase 2 or more tickets will be entered into a separate, free

‘Multi-Ticket Jackpot Draw’ with a prize of £2,500. Entrants receive one entry for

each ticket purchased. For example, if you purchase 4 tickets, you will receive 4

entries into the Multi-Ticket Jackpot Draw. The Multi-Ticket Jackpot Draw will take

place on Monday 3rd August 2026, immediately after the main draw.

TICKETS

• All lottery tickets for The Big Summer Lottery 2026 are priced at £50.

• The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased by one person is 20.

• The maximum number of tickets that will be sold is 16,000.

• Tickets are available from the Hope Store (High Street), Aladdin’s Cave, and

several pop-up stall locations.

• If any cheque provided for the purchase of a ticket is returned by the issuing

bank for lack of funds, the ticket will be voided and withdrawn from the draw.

• All lottery ticket sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time. All

entrants acknowledge that their payment of £50 to enter the lottery does not

guarantee that they will win any prize. Please do not buy a ticket if you cannot

afford to donate the money to charity.

THE DRAW

• The draw is scheduled to be held on Monday 3rd August 2026 at 7PM. A list

of winning numbers will appear in The Guernsey Press, on the website

www.summerlottery.gg, the Hope for a Child Facebook page

(www.facebook.com/hopeforachildgsy) and

can be obtained by phoning Hope for a Child on 01481 727547.

• Hope for a Child reserves the right to change the date and location of the

draw if required. If this occurs, the new details will be published on

www.summerlottery.gg and printed in The Guernsey Press newspaper

• The winning numbers will be drawn by independent lottery services provider

Bonobo Plc.

• Any unsold tickets will not be entered into the draw — all prizes will be won by

ticket holders.

• Cash prizes will be made by bank transfer or cheque to a bank account held

in the name of the entrant only.

• The identity of prize winners may be made known publicly, unless winners

specifically request to remain anonymous.

CLAIMING PRIZES

• All entrants are solely responsible for providing Hope for a Child with accurate

and up-to-date contact details. Hope for a Child will be in no way liable for any

failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions, or

inaccuracies in the contact details provided. In the event that a ticket holder

changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising Hope

for a Child of the change.

• Hope for a Child will make its best effort to contact prize winners using the

contact details provided. Any prize not claimed after 90 days from the date of

the draw will automatically revert to Hope for a Child.

• Prizes will only be given on receipt of a winning ticket, with the ticket holder

being deemed to be the person named on the database where ticket

purchase records are recorded. Any prize will only be transferred to that

person, and Hope for a Child may require proof of identification.

LIABILITY

Hope for a Child shall not be liable to lottery entrants for any loss or damage suffered

or arising from:

• Any delays or failures in the postal service or other delivery methods used by

Hope for a Child.

• Any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by Hope for a

Child for the administration of the lottery.

• Any delays or failures in the banking system used by Hope for a Child, or the

ticket holder.

• Any event beyond the reasonable control of Hope for a Child.

DATA PROTECTION

• Hope for a Child is committed to protecting entrants’ privacy. The full name,

contact number and/or email address is collected from each ticket holder. This

information is used for the purpose of processing lottery chances, and

informing winners that they have won a prize. Hope for a Child will contact

entrants using the email address provided to promote future lotteries and

fundraising events if the entrant has opted to receive further promotional

emails. Entrants can opt out of receiving these emails by emailing

office@hope.gg at any time, or by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ on any promotional

email received. This data is held securely by a third party, Bonobo PLC.

• Hope for a Child will not sell, rent or grant access to any personal data for use

by any third party.

• Any entrant has the right to access the information held about them. To obtain

this information, please contact Hope for a Child by emailing office@hope.gg,

or calling 01481 727547.

GENERAL

• In the event of circumstances outside of these rules requiring clarification,

Hope for a Child will be the sole arbiters of that issue. The decision of Hope

for a Child regarding any aspect of the lottery is final and binding and no

correspondence will be entered into about it.

• Hope for a Child reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend

the lottery where it becomes necessary to do so.
